hi friends,I want to start my own web hosting and own web server. how should i start?

I also know (html, .net3.5, sqlser) I wanted to know How the web sites hosted with web server. If I need to run my own business of web hosting, what should I do? I want my computer works as Web Server or web Hosting Server, then what should I implement in my PC?

   Well you have a long way to go - and I am pretty skeptical that you actually know .net considering the nature of your question. Who knows what sqlser is even supposed to mean.. You probably meant, you know OF these things.

   You want to run a web serer, first thing you need is a server operating system such as Linux or MS Server (obviously).

   First of all you have to know that you have long way ahead.

   Try:

   - apache as webserver

   - php, mysql as language and database server.

   - cpanel to give the users an administrative panel.

   Haha. There’s no single program you can just download…and you have your own web hosting.

   If you want to turn your computer into a web server you might want to try pclinuxos. In the control panel there’s an option to turn your computer into a web server .I would advise you to read a lot about what this does to your computer exactly and to make sure you understand the security implications of running your own server.

   First you must beside on what platform to host your services Linux\Windows.
   If you are going for Blogs , Forums or CMS sites. Go for Linux based.
   If you are using ASP for development go for Windows hosting.
