How do I choose reliable web hosting and domain name?

There are tons of web hosting companies out there. There are some who’ll give you a free domain and templates as part of the hosting plan but which is the best currently?
It is more about choosing one that fits what you are after, There are plenty of good hosts.. Choosing one that is priced well and offers good customer support is usually a good place to start.

There are a lot to choose from, In general, I doubt that there are any perfect web hosting companies around. Even if you are prepared to pay a huge price for your hosting needs, it does not guarantee that your host is good. In this industry a high price does not necessarily mean quality hosting and support.
Like me, you’ll probably end up settling for a trade-off between price, reliability and features that you’re willing to live with. I’ve been pretty happy with the one I’ve been using so far: http://www.mediaend.com and I’d have to recommend.

They will give you a free domain name and templates, plus easy one click install of WordPress and other software (through Fantastico).
